I am happy to announce that BrainTalk is back online and repaired
No John didn't do squat, I don't even know if he is aware that there were any problems David Hosobuchi had enough access to optimize and repair the tables So the site is live again, it's going to be slow for a bit since all of the cache's were deleted. Once things get to running a bit quicker I will send out another mass email informing everyone that BT is back online. |

Hi Ging
In a nutshell a cache is a copy of the threads that the server keeps for faster searching. It is updated periodically throughout the day to stay current. When the cache is cleared/deleted from a large forum, the forum becomes really slow until the cache has been rebuilt. |

Thanks for explaining what a cache is Zombieslayer, because I would've said it had something to do with Pirates?!? Hehehe. Thanks also to both you and David for getting BT back up and running. You and the rest of the team are worth your weight in gold!
Also thanks soooo much to DocJohn and the team here at Neurotalk for willingly taking in all of us - hugs to all of you Nat xx |
