I also noticed that DocJohn has now put up an official welcome for everyone from BrainTalk - thanks so much DocJohn for making us all feel so welcome here on your site!

Hey Jane, that's so cool that they have chat here - definately count me in for one!!

Jimmy, I think everyone is still out there wandering around in cyberspace!! There is a link on the Brain Aneurysm Foundation website, so for those that don't hear about this forum on the grapevine will hopefully (fingers crossed!) go to the bafound site and see the link there.

Ging, with your angio, is it possible to have one of the new 3D CTA's which are just as clear if not clearer than an angio with non of the risk, to at least have a look at your artery?? Could you ask your NS? This is what I have, and it's just like having a normal CTA, but the quality and detail of the images is amazing!!

Hugs,

Nat xx
I will keep that at the top of my question list. Thanks for the infomation. I was afraid that if they messed the good artery up I would be like "burnt toast"

Default Arriving from Brain Talk

Looks like we are finally all getting back together I hope everyone else can find us. I found out that I really do need the connection because as much as we are loved by others, they cant possibly understand our worries and concerns and desires to learn as much as we can about these wicked little things. Happiness to you all

Hi DataKat (this is going to take a while to get used to the new names!!), hi Jan!

Jan, I know what you mean - I got all anxious and panicky when BT crashed, at the thought of not having all of you to talk to. I too really need this connection.

It will be really sad if BT doesn't come back up, or if not everyone finds their way here.

Hugs to everyone!! Hehehe - they have cool smilies here!!

Yes they do have cool smilies. I was in a sort of a panic mode myself,at first I thought my computer was fried, then after a couple of days I find out from Tropical T. that BT was down and she directed me. It was like me getting my fix. I NEED ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE.
Now I feel better just knowing you all are still out there with me. Hugs to you all

I am happy to announce that BrainTalk is back online and repaired

No John didn't do squat, I don't even know if he is aware that there were any problems

David Hosobuchi had enough access to optimize and repair the tables So the site is live again, it's going to be slow for a bit since all of the cache's were deleted.

Once things get to running a bit quicker I will send out another mass email informing everyone that BT is back online.

Hi Ging

In a nutshell a cache is a copy of the threads that the server keeps for faster searching. It is updated periodically throughout the day to stay current.

When the cache is cleared/deleted from a large forum, the forum becomes really slow until the cache has been rebuilt.

Thanks for explaining what a cache is Zombieslayer, because I would've said it had something to do with Pirates?!? Hehehe. Thanks also to both you and David for getting BT back up and running. You and the rest of the team are worth your weight in gold!

Also thanks soooo much to DocJohn and the team here at Neurotalk for willingly taking in all of us - hugs to all of you
