Default Emetophobia

Wondering if anyone else here is emetophobic. Better yet, has anyone overcome this debilitating phobia? Thanks.

Hey, I don't personally suffer from that particular phobia, but my 15-year-old daughter does. It's so bad that we have to keep stock in prescription nausea medicine, "just in case". And if her sister or I happen to get sick, she heads for the hills, calling every friend and family member until someone agrees to rescue her. Anyway, today I found this hypnosis thing online, but it's not free. I was going to ask my pdoc and tdoc about it before trying it, *edit* I have no idea if it's any good. Good luck to you.

*edit* Send me a personal message if you can't find it,*edit*

Thanks for posting this! I suffer from it severely. It's debilitating and my husband doesn't understand it at all. It creates horrible OCD which I'm on medication for and I refuse treatment for this phobia because that in itself terrifies me!!!

I'm glad there is someone else that can relate. But it does make life hard, doesn't it?
