Dear Kit,
I hope you get some responses soon from people who've experienced the same issues. I'm very sorry to hear about your husband's illness. No wonder you're so anxious.

Have you posted on the PN forum at all? Here's the link. Just click on it and it'll take you to the Peripheral Neuropathy Forum

When you visit the different Fora here and you wish to post a new topic, just look on the screen for the sign "New Thread" which is usually close to the top of the screen on the left hand side.

I have a friend who has MS who uses hand controls as well. I would imagine it would be something a person might take some time getting used to and become confident. Maybe go to a quiet, safe place where you can practice? Not sure if that is possible.

I'm sure there must be people somewhere on these forums who have experienced the same situation.

If I find any information that might be useful I'll post it here for you.

P.S. Edited to add: I just ran a search and there is a current user here on the PN Forum who posted a message regarding hand controls quite a while back.

They didn't have any responses at the time but perhaps if you Repost your message on the PN Forum at the first link I provided in my message here, then they may have some helpful info. for you.
