Lightbulb My official diagnosis

Just got back from my 1st meeting with my counselor. We had a good hour long talk. He asked me a few questions like any disturbing flashbacks/dreams. He diagnosed me with OCD, GAD, PTSD, and a few phobias (like hypnophobia).

Hi, Gethprime. Wow, what a long list. I'm glad you have been diagnosed--now for treatment!

actually im not doing well anymore When i tried to schedule a 3rd session, the receptionist told me they were out of network . The new therapist i saw last week made my anxiety go crazy. I couldnt sleep that night. Now today, I went to the eye doctor about my constant annoying eyelid twitching. While waiting my anxiety was starting to go nuts again. My arm (right) is still feeling.....off. I was informed I was farsighted, so now Im waiting for my glasses to come in.

I recall, quite a few years ago now. I went through a period where my eyeballs themselves would bounce up-&-down. In particular I recall having gone to a play & sitting in my seat, waiting for the play to start while my eyes bounced up-&-down. I don't recall how long that went on for. I don't think it continued for too long. But it was all just pent-up anxiety. Hope things begin to improve for you soon.

Often matching the "right" anti-depressant (a SSRI like Prozac, an SNRI or any of the others) to the "right" person is a matter of trial and error.

As far as I can see heart issues are possible but rare side-effects of Prozac (Prozac Uses, Dosage, Side Effects & Warnings - Drugs.com).

If you find that Prozac is not helping you or if you have heart problems because of it then discussing other possibilities with your doctor is an option.
