Confused Anyone Had This Happen ?

I had a Brain Aneurysm 8 years ago... and now I was in the Walmart and had a seizure... the next thing I know I'am in the back of an ambulance , they are asking me all kinds of questions that I cannot answer for about a good 5 mins.
and they tell me it is caused from scar tissue ... I say 8 yrs. later? Now I have to take topomax for the rest of my life !!

There is very little in neurology that is cast in stone. What they are saying is based on 'likelihood" not fact. Taking an anti-seizure medication is not a big deal in many cases. I have been on and off seizure meds for 40 years.

The scar tissue comment does not make sense to me, but I do not have the specific knowledge to comment on the aftermath of an aneurysm. What part of your brain was the aneurysm in? Are there any things in your life that put stress on that part of your brain?

Lots of questions to ask. Hope you can find some answers.

My best to you.
