Default Question: comfortable pillow?

Question: Does anybody have any suggestion or suggestions for a comfortable pillow? On TV, they are advertising 'My pillow'. Has anyone tried this one?

I only love 100% goose down pillows.

I like sturdy pillows. I got a memory pillow with a gel insert at Kohl's...I can turn it over for a different feel. I love it!!

I've been using a latex foam pillow and I love it. I used to have a feather pillow and never thought I'd find anything more comfortable until I stole my husband's pillow and fell in love with it.

I'm another who loves their latex pillow. I tried a down one but that wasn't for me.

I guess a pillow is another case of everyone's different, and I'll be looking for a new bed in the next few months. Not looking forward to that.

Default zzzzzzzzz!

Last month I got a pillow from ABC distributing and it is call pillow max. I lost it to my DH, because I was sleeping so good and he to I plan on ordering another one. It is very firm so it is very cozy.

I like the down pillows, because you can scrunch the up and put them where you want them or just hug them.

Can you do that with the latex foam pillows??

and yet another latex foam pillow person here. And yes, you can scruch to your heart's delight; it just pops back to normal self when you get up. I feel it also lasts much longer than feather/down but that is just IMO (and I don't get the odd quill poking through the cover like I did with goose down)

Default My Pillow

I walked into Macy's and had this nondescript sales person tell me more than I was expecting about .. Pillows.

She started by asking me if I slept on my back or stomach and I really had not thought about that but decided I slept on my stomach .. If I stay on my back I don't really sleep .. I think .. have you done that one?

As I remember she suggested a soft so as not to bend my head backwards .. stiff was for people that sleep on their backs or sides.

As important as the stuffing in your pillows .. the stuffing in your stomach! Do you have any idea how many little oxygen buggies are walking around town each day because we are eat our last meal too late in the day .. do you have a non functioning esophagus valve .. and are you aspirating your stomach contents all night. It really messes up your lungs. Yes, really! Do most doctors have a clue .. well, what do you suppose?

We eat at sun up and about 2:00 PM. Our stomachs are empty at night. Oh, I can't do that I get hungry. Wake up, you are supposed to fast about two days per month .. some do it one day a week .. and hunger feelings are not the end of the world .. look at Bangladesh for Pete's Sake.

Default Your reply makes me think

I am thinking...Hmmm...there are times that I fall asleep on my back and end up thinking, well, sort of sleeping and thinking, usually making me tired. Other times, I don't even know that I am asleep. That is very strange. I used to sleep on my tummy , my favorite position! Then, because of my back, that wasn't a very comfortable position. Or, maybe, it is the kind of pillow. Thanks! I shall investigate...
