Wink how to train a dog to be a diabetic alert dog

can some one please help me i'm a type 1 diabetic and i have a 2 year old German Shepherd and i want to train him myself to be a diabetic alert dog and i need to know if there's book's or video's out there that tell's how to train a dog to be a diabetic alert dog.
