We haven't done a roll call /check in thread for quited awhile- so I thought this would be a good time to start it.

Hopefully we can get a "Hello" post and maybe a bit about how you're doing?

Default Roll Call

First, Shelley, I hope you are feeling better.

I am doing well here in NJ. Trying to enjoy holidays and not getting stressed. My son's leg is healing, my arm is still attached to my body but not completely better.

As far as TOS is concerned, I actually feel alot better. I am almost afraid to say it. I am still in pain but not as much as I was 6 months ago.

I am praying that I am getting back to the way I was after surgery.

I wish everyone a healthy and happy New Year. And, a Merry Christmas!

Linda

Default Its Amy

Im doing well. Ive got to cook supper for my father in law today since my mother in law passed last year but its ok. I have both my steps sons home. One is home from college then I have my two, so a full house for xmas. We will go to my moms on xmas day. New Years Bill and I are going to a huge New Year Eves party at the Sheraton. Im really looking forward to that.

My TOS pain is very low since Ive stopped driving everyday now. As long as I dont stay on the puter much I dont even need a Tylenol...so Im happy for that. So thats my news..Hope everyone has a pain free holiday. Amy

Merry Christmas to all!

I'm around...just been miserable lately. I'm trying to get in the Holiday spirit but it's hard. We went to a family party yesterday and I was in so much pain. I had to borrow a pillow and I just couldn't sit anywhere. The weather was rainy which didn't help. I was so tired and felt so sick. It's just totally not like me to be that way.

I'm also on some new medications which is helping some. I'm on Cymbalta and also Zanaflex. It seems to be giving me some relief. The pain is just too much. My surgery has been scheduled now for Jan 14th. It was supposed to be the 7th but had to get bumped a week. I'm hoping I will make it!

Happy Holidays!

I am here...Spent a lot of Christmas parties answering questions on how I am feeling since my surgery earelier this year. All I can answer is I am still in pain and docs feel it could be up to 2 years before I hit my max. recovery. And that no, I am not back at work yet! Sitting still at dinners and while chit-chatting was a chore, and I have been in a LOT of pain...of course, for some reason I never seemed to have my meds handy.

I start the new year off with a visit to my neuro, then I should be visiting with a new Physiatrist, finally and Pain Mgt Doc and a dietitian. I will be hitting PT, chiro and MT again and really going to put some effort into getting out to 2 or 3 aqua fit classes a week.

I hope everyone had a festive holiday season and I wish, for all of us, a more pain-free 2008!

Default I'm here too...

Hi Everyone,

I am still around as well. Got over the whole cancellation of surgery and had a grat Christmas. Pain levels are still the same and I am eager to get the surgery over with. Hopefully I will get in sometime in January.

Busy packing today, heading to Disney World tomorrow.

Wishing all of you a great, pain free New Year.

Take Care
Rach
