Default Topomax and Gabapentin

Just wondered if anyone else has taken these drugs together and whether doing so was successful in reducing their pain levels. My neuro is giving this a try for a bit...I was gaining weight as the Gabapentin dose was increased and Topomax tends to cause weight loss (which I won't argue with!). I have read all the side effects (or most of, I am sure there are lots) and know it can make you feel "stupid" for lack of a better word (actually this is why I went off of it in the first place), but I am willing to try anything.
