Default Is this the answer to my prayers?

Friends,
I write this with much frustration in my heart and mind.

As many of you know I am in Bible college working toward my undergrad degree. I have paid the tuition with the assistance of my parents until this semester. This semester I asked our church for tuition assistance. The school does a church match scholarship and they match whatever the church pays.

Church told me no problem paying the tuition this semester but can't do it next semester. that is so they can share the wealth...ok, now the problem...

I have had the worst week in my life for pain. I have had really bad pain since last Tuesday. I have prayed and asked for relief. I hate being a couch potato and really love school. Today I got an email from church that they can't pay my tuition because I don't meet their criteria. Apparently, they only help tuition for people fresh out of high school going into freshman year, not adults going back for a second time.

now I have to withdraw from school for the semester and hopefully return in the fall. Maybe this is God's way of saying "you need time to let your body adjust and take some time off" I really find this frustrating.

Sorry for the vent.

Vent away, Brother Earl!

I firmly believe you answered your own question.

The Man Upstairs is just asking you to sloooow dooooown on your initial focus. There may be something in your peripheral vision that's been overlooked and needs your attention.

---I really didn't mean for that to sound like a horoscope or fortune cookie!

Earl

I am sorry you are not doing well and having to deal with so much pain. Maybe it is time for you to slow down and take some time off, or maybe just take one class. Focus on you and get better.

Look within and see if you can find another scholarship or a grant. There are alot of them out there....take the time you need to heal yourself.

Take care Earl.

Earl,
I'm sorry to hear about this. I know how much you were looking forward to this and how much it meant to you.

I know with your determination you will bounce back and do even better.

For now, rest, pray, and write. God is giving you an opportunity right now. Look around you. The answer is there.

Earl,

This message board is here to assist all member with help, and that is venting, for one.

Maybe you should take sometime to rest and get to finally better before continuing on.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Darlene

Oh Earl, I'm so sorry. It seem's like sometimes bad things happen, but later they turn out to actually be good things. You've gotten some great advice already. Maybe you could just take one class for now if you can afford to pay for that. If not, I'm sure you'll find a way in the future. Best wishes!
