Default Wicked Weather

Whats it doin in your neck of the woods?

I wanted to start this thread as a checkin in point for everyone.....

There were so many wicked storms last night and are many going on today....between thunderstorms, tornados and massive snow storms .....so many here are being effected..........

I watch the weather chanell and it seems every state they annouce a new weather condition for I am sittin here thinking ...oh no...such and such lives there..........

I am praying for all today....this weather is getting more and more strange and worrisome. (those of you who know me ....know that the weather is a major deal to me......you can almost bet in most every conversation....that will be one of the first questions I ask...and its not just a chit-chat phrase for me....I REALLY WANNA KNOW LOL)

I am really worried about our friends in Tenn. Last night was a very bad night for them.......

............hugs to all board buddies........

Rain, flood watch, and possible snow tonight. That means ice tomorrow morning, wahoo.

Hope everyone stays safe with all this crazy weather going on.

but come the end of next summer, I'll be a-watchin' weather reports like a hawk, waiting for hurricanes.

They are calling for 5 to 10" of snow in this part of Michigan.

We have about 2 1/2 inches right now but still snowing pretty hard.

Northeast Ohio...flood warning, many rivers over their flood limits. Really poured down around midnite. We didn't get any water into basement, only a little trickle under the wash tub. We've got our "seasonal lakefront lot" in the back lawn that the birds are dearly loving!!!

I don't think the weather is any different than it has been in the past.

I can remember blizzards and snow events when I lived in Michigan; tornadoes in Alabama and Michigan and horrible rain and lightening in Florida.

This was years ago and I think weather tends to be cyclical. Michigan has kind of gotten a pass over the last few years as regards heavy snow events.

I do think the drought is unusual (in the South) but not unheard of and since there is such an impressive population in those areas now days it is easy to see how it will have an impact.

Either way, the storms in the South (we got lucky and missed them) were truly terrible. I'd been watching Super Tuesday returns (we were visiting in Ga) and just before I went to bed I checked the weather and I was very surprised.
