Default Another 5 star review on 'Monkeys in the Middle'

latest review on Monkeys in the Middle

***** Moving, September 23, 2008
By Robert M. Smith "BoookGuy" (Dayton,OH)
A powerful book that first moved me to tears, then to my Mac to fire off a letter to my Congressmen. A disconcerting indictment of the pharmaceutical industry in which Nelson proves that Amgen put the bottom line above the betterment of humanity. A great read. I couldn't put it down. This book is not just for people with Parkinson's but for all but the lucky few who won't be forced to rely on prescription drugs to maintain their lives.

Default Excellent!

Nick gave this book his total commitment and wrote a professional and powerful piece of documentary. WE all need to feel gratitude for those that see others and are moved by what is so deeply human in all of us. And those of us with PD need to be especially grateful for Nick, who has stepped up and done for us, what we cannot do for ourselves. The pen is mightier than the sword!
