How many ave treated you that way?

Thoughts -
Make a short but clear list of your health problems for the dr... and hand it to him/her to read.. and they can ask you the questions they need to after reading it...

I think if patients get too wordy or talk too fast the dr could lose focus and miss the main points - so sticking with the main reason for the appt is a good idea.

....hmmmmOopsalot...very good question. I think Jo had a good idea, in fact, I might try it myself. Are they just not listening, or are they having a difficult time making a diagnosis???

I don't smile or crack jokes with my doctors until I get to know them better. And I might not do it then either. (Moose don't like doctors).

Jo55 said it better than I could.
Bring pen and paper with you. Bring notes and take notes as they are talking to you.

It's always worked for me.

Thanks!

I will continue to bring notes in, I tend to forget important things whiel waiting for the doctor.

She didn't really look at them the first time.

Guess I will keep trying.
