Default quilt blocks

I have taken on the daunting task of making a baby quilt. I have no experience in this area. I got mad at the pattern and wanted to flush it. Any way I have a question if anyone can help me. I cut the blocks out , now do I leave the blocks
raveled or put a hem in each one? I hope someone can help me out.
Thankyou. Doodle bug7

Doodlebug, you just sew them to each other with a moderately close stitch - you don't have to hem each one.

I'll see if I can locate some images for you.
this one looks pretty good-

is your pattern squares or triangles - squares are easier for first timers.

my mom has made baby quilts for years

Smile Blocks, blocks and more blocks.

Thank you so much for this. The squares are just block shaped, I have the middle in one piece and doing blocks around it. The part or the middle
is really cute. I better get a little faster than this as it is for Christmas.
YIKES! You're great. Doodle bug7

I started a baby quilt made from my maternity clothes. As I decided to have only one child I cut up the clothes and got it started but never finished.

The baby is 40 years old and he has daughters 17 and 9 years old. One of these days I will finish that quilt.

Good luck and please post photos!
