Lightbulb Comcast aggravation!

Anyone here with Comcast Digital TV....

This is what happened to us.
As of Dec 1st they changed their whole TV line up and added
a bunch of new channels, for no extra $$.

The kicker is that they did not upgrade us...automatically.
We received a postcard over a month ago saying we'd be getting new channels. In December.

But-- I tried them today...and nothing.

I had to call a rep and she searched and indeed we were not upgraded...but we WERE charged the extra money! (of course)

So it looks like they only upgrade people if they complain.
Perhaps after a month or so maybe we'd be done, but who knows? I am really thinking of switching now to AT&T.

My son dropped Comcast because he was paying over 100 dollars a month for phone/internet/TV. Looks like we will be making a change soon too. $75 for what we are getting now is pretty steep IMO. The only thing keeping me is that now that I am not working, daytime documentary and news programming is what I watch while I work on my art projects.

What tipped me off was the website. None of the options on it matched our bill--- they have reorganized EVERYTHING.
(Sprint has done this too)

So if you have Comcast TV...check out if you have been upgraded to the new channels.

I truly believe that they are banking on most people just getting fed up and not trying to understand the bill. My Charter bill is three pages long!! I have all three services (cable TV, DSL and phone) and they have it so convoluted and hard to read that I have to wait till I have a good "cognitive day" to look at it.

Last time I called they asked me if I wanted an upgrade on my DSL so that my computer would run faster. Only $5 a month extra! I said no.....and lo and behold my computer speed slowed waaaay down over the next few days. Can they do that?
