Heart Treats For Troops

I found a very nice site that allows you to shop for any soldier. They take care of everything from packaging your items to shipping it for you. Very convenient for everyone. You can send to a soldier you know or foster someone you don't know. You are asked to type a message to the soldier at the end of your purchase if you'd like. They have personal items like soap, toothpaste, etc to treats and games. It's a great site and takes the guesswork out of what to send.

Jim and I just sent a care package to a soldier we know over in Afghanistan and it was so easy.

Here is the web address: Treats For Troops

Awesome Sandy! I decided to foster a soldier. I had fun picking stuff out for him.

thanks for this Sandy,

I hope you don't mind me sharing a story here.

a friend of ours and his wife were at the "Outback Steakhouse"

and there were a group of Marines at the bar.

He bought them all a couple of rounds of drinks and somehow, they found out he did it.

When he and his wife left, they all got up and saluted him...

when he told me that, I had ****warm fuzzies****

our friend was in Vietnam and he has become very successful and for him to do that, it just gives one hope that there ARE truly kind folks in this world...
