Default Frozen...you babies be safe.

I just saw on the news that a water fall in Mn is frozen...it was really very pretty and a deer got caught on a frozen lake...it was rescued.

We went to Tn one year and ice was everywhere...many of the falls were frozen. We haven't been back during that time of year...everyone but me freezes and hates the cold.

You people living in these storms take care and be safe!!
I will keep a candle burning so you can find your way.

Years ago in snow storms when someone went out for whatever reason...they often tied a rope to the door and the person...If they lost their bearings or the rope broke...a candle in the window was their beacon to find their way back inside. My grandmother says our winters are nothing here like they once were...global warming I guess.

Winters aren't as bad as they once were, not even here in MN, but they're bad enough! My BIL ran a ski area for several years, never got enough snow to make a profit, so he closed it last winter. We've had tons of snow ever since. I told him he needs to open it again so the snow goes away..

About 12-16 inches of snow here, in the past two or three days. I have been here for four years, and we usually have about 5 inches of snow for the whole winter. It is so bad that we can't even leave the drive-way, so my mother, brother, and I will be home together tomorrow
