[Spanish Moss]

A number of years ago I was having a rough time around the holidays, struggling with some things and wondering what to do.

That was the year that I heard this song for the first time. It is supposed to be from the standpoint of Mary as she pondered what she was called to do.

However, the words fit my heart's cry at the time, as well. I heard it again this morning in church and I remembered how it helped me to know that the same God that helped Mary would help me too.

Maybe it will be what someone here needs to hear who carries a burden heavy to bear....

Thanks Moss, that was so beautiful. Sometimes things get so bad and we just feel helpless to do anything within our own power. It's those times we have to pray to God to take over and carry us. I've had those times in my life, when things seemed hopeless. God has carried me through until the worst of it was over. It has happened more times than I can remember actually. We go to mass each weekend and I'm reminded that God is there for us, in the background, supporting me and my family.
