I go to a very small church in our little town. We got there this morning at the end of Sunday School. The class in right there when you go in... we don't have classrooms. The minute I walked through the door I felt the presence of God's spirit. It really could have knocked me over it was so powerful. A wonderful discussion was going on. We had a great prayer service. I was really moved. The pastor asked if he could annoint me and pray for me. The ladies sat all around me and laid hands on me. I literally could feel the stress being brought up out of my body and escape from my shoulders and head.
I don't think God's answer in always healing. I have told him if he wants to use me and my disease to help others, I will gladly be the best person I can through it all. So I don't feel immediately healed, but I do feel his presence and through the power of prayer and the holy spirit I was truly touched and burdens lifted from me. Others were feeling his presence as well. That is what God's love is all about. and I would trade a healthy body for God's love anyday. I hope the rest of you have been or will be truly blessed this week!

Yes, I'm truly blessed to have stumbled on your post tonight! I was trying to find the words to post about my Father-in-law passing away tonight.
Saw the title of your thread and yes, He surely was in the building tonight!

Someone recently asked me how I had gotten through 11 yrs with the pain of Trigeminal (facial) Neuralgia. I simply told them "My FAITH, MY PRAYERS, and my CHURCH FAMILY".
It makes a change in all of us, sort of a repentance..when we KNOW that God is in our hearts and with us each step of the way.

I wish you both many blessings in the days to come. There are blessings all around us. Kinda like finding Easter eggs, we just have to keep our eyes open and be willing to look through the weeds.  Thanks for you responses!

Yes, I agree we get so busy doing for others, we do forget to call on God to help and support us. I've realized he's always there, we just have to be open for his love. It's hard to admit we need his help. But he wants to help us. He doesn't want us to do it alone! Thanks for reminding me of that today!
