Default Good News About DH
We got some good news today. The CT scan of the chest and the bone scan both came back showing no spread of the cancer, so it looks like it's contained just to the kidney. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow (Wed) at 12:45 pm EST, so please keep him in your thoughts. It will be a 3-hour surgery and then about one hour in the recovery room, then up to his hospital room.

The doctor wrote a special order for him to be guaranteed a private room because I have a service dog who goes everywhere with me, and we need to stay with my husband while he is in the hospital. Everyone so far has been very good to us. BIL arrived this afternoon.
