For those of you remember back in September when a fire broke out in the small town I grew up in.
Well, yesterday finally a man was indicted for starting the fire along with breaking into one of the businesses. All to steal some alcohol from the restaurant and started the fire to cover up his tracks.

I remember the story and thanks for the update. That's really scary that someone went that far for alcohol.

I saw this on the news. Glad they caught the @#$%^&*(
The interviews of the people in town were sad, when they talked about what an effect it has had on business, and how trust was lost and people were afraid of what was going to happen to the town. I know they applied for a grant for beautification and stuff before the fire. Will they be able to use some of that money to rebuild?

Yes, they will still be able to use the money - the sad part is the town is now fighting against each other on what should go there. Some say that spot needs to be a park and build the new businesses out of town some place while other's want the stores back where they where.

he went to court yesterday and pleaded NOT guilty (of course) to all counts even assaulting his girlfriend which from what I understand there are two witness's that watched him kick the crap out of her.
