Default Joellee2000, thank you!!!!!

I got your birthday card today, totally unexpected. My DH asked me why anyone from the forum would be sending me anything. He asked if this was common, for people to communicate off the forum. I think other people don't understand that this is a community for us.

My 84 year old Mother started up cardmaking about a year ago and will be very interested to see this card. Thank you again.

I know what you mean, Doyd~ Jo's cards are amazing and so detailed.

I rubber stamp and make my own cards, too. It's so relaxing and good therapy for me.

Tell your DH you got something b/c everyone around here cares about you and your'e special!

How nice of Jo to send you such a nice card, Doyd!! I have recieved one of Jo's cards before and they are really pretty and lovely ... she could make an expert crafter if she wanted!

At first, when I started recieving cards from people on the forum, my dad didn't understand why people were sending them to me and thought it was a bit strange. I ALWAYS tell my parents if someone wants my address and ask for permission because of my age and my mum reads most things that I put on the forum and I let her know straight away if I find anything a bit strange (so far thankfully, I haven't and everyone is really nice and friendly!). My Dad now understands why people send me things through the mail as I have told him that we are all family and have told him how much people here have helped me!!

I too make cards. I started card making and scrapbooking when I was about 10 years old with my grandad. He passed away in Novemeber unfortunately but I still craft when I can as I find it so relaxing!! I can't do it as much as I would like to now because of my hands being bad and school but I still try to craft when possible. I get a lot of my products of QVC and Ideal World Shopping Channels and they are really good quality!!

Thank you Jo for sending Doydie a card and for all of the lovely ones I have recieved off you also, I really appreciate it!!

I'm so glad you've enjoyed the cards ! Ali, I think you have me confused with a different Jo ! I just mailed you your first card from me yesterday, lol!! Unless, I have forgotten that I did it . It's highly possible because my memory is horrible.

Yes, Joelle makes lovely cards. I got one from her that was bright yellow and sunny and helped tide me over during the last few weeks of winter. It looks so cheerful here by my bed. Thank you, Jo, it is a very nice thing you do for people!
