Default Looking for Desktop Computer

I want desktop 'cause I 'think' it can hold more Ram, etc. I need something that can use to edit video. Any ideas on a good brand. I have always had Gateway in the past, but I heard they were bought out. ????
Thanks.

I think it was the business laptop part that got bought by another company.
I have a refub gateway and it was a part of the changeover.

the Gateway site is still up- desktop section
http://www.gateway.com/systems/categ...id=topnav_shop

look for multimedia and high Ram amounts for video editing.

If you can go to some stores be sure to tell the sales person what you need to use the computer for and get suggestions - I would take notes then come home and look for more info & prices online

also warranty, brand name, reliability are other things to consider.
