This is just a brief note to let you know what
interesting speaker we have planned for you for our upcoming MEETING on Thursday, FEBRUARY 18TH. As promised a member of the Naturopathic Family Care practice is to speak to us discussing holistic medicine and how this approach pertains to Syringomyelia and Chiari. Naturopathic Family Care opened their practice in Phoenix in 1985. They combine conventional, complementary and alternative medicine all in one clinic to provide a truly holistic approach to health care concerns Their goal was to offer their patients the best integrative and alternative medicine care possible. Our speaker will be Raushanbah Najeeullah, NMD. She graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 2001 and received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in January 2009. We have asked her to address their approach to nutrition and nutritional counseling. She is our follow up to Stacy Bailey, of St. Joes, who spoke to us in January regarding the traditional side of nutrition and medicine. This meeting should prove to be very interesting and informative. So PLEASE COME and JOIN US: What: Syringo & Chiari Support Group Meeting Date: Thursday, February 18, 2010 Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Place: St. Joseph's Outpatient Rehab Conference Room NW Corner of Thomas Rd. and 1st Ave. Please RSVP Thanks and LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THEN.
