it is okk but doesnt really show a good picture . I have had a few but now would rather do closed so all is shown .

I also had an open MRI and my neurosurgeon ordered a new one. He also said the picture quality wasn't very good. I had to have 2 more in a closed machine. They get the measurements they need to fix any problems there may be. Hope everything works out for you.

i only have open MRIs, i can't be in a closed area for too long. the newer machines are getting better and better. it could work for me due to my syringomyelia is not growing so they don't have to see the whole spine. maybe next time i'll take some meds to relax and try a closed one.
