Does anyone know of a correlation between the two disorders? I had Chiari repair first...10 months later had Stenosis repair. Several persons at the hospital stated that they frequently see patients who have both disorders and require surgical repair. DDD - Degenerative Disc Disease.

He said he sees the two conditions together frequently. This NS has passed me off to a pain management doctor. I went to him the first time yesterday, but won't be going back. I had to spend 45 minutes explaining to him what a Chiari Malformation was. He'd never heard of it. Back to the telephone book for me here!! |
