i was diagnosed with chiari malformaton around june,this year....on august 3 rd i underwent surgery in hopes of relievng my symptoms...its been a little over 4 weeks since my surgery and something has come along...i was doing fine the 2 and 3rd week...but the 4th week hit me hard,i am in constant pain now. i have HORRIBLE headaches and terrible nausea to the point where i am throwing up daily...i need answers...what is going on?

If you are 4 weeks post op, and in PAIN, call your neurosurgeon. Do not suffer or try to "ride it out".
You had brain surgery. Either adjust your meds or get back in for a follow-up. Recovery is a process, and managing your pain & nausea are step one. Be kind to yourself and good luck! |
