Thanks for the replies. I get the chance to check my messages often throughout the day but a live chat room would not work for me. My journey began a very long time ago. Migraines as a little girl. I have had to lumbar surgeries with the second on being a fusion way back in '99, I have had Carol tunnel surgery on both hands (left one twice), left ulnar tunnel release, left shoulder repair, gastric bipass surgery (I lost 126 pound) but because of the depression and pain I have gain half of that back. I have had gall bladder, hysterectomy, two kids (4 angels in heaven) I have mixed sleep apnea, problems with fast and irregular heart rate, the list goes on and on. I just need to get some relief. I did see a new doctor this last week who did order a new MRI, when I was treated for a possible stroke in '08 I had MRI that showed a synix and a cyst in the pineal gland. I have started tracking down all of my records so that I can compile thing and try to map it out so that I am better informed. My friend has been diagnosed with Chair I and that is who is helping me with this. Our MRI are identical and add the syrinx to mine and the symptoms that have me side lined most days. I still manage to home school and do daycare but I am pretty wiped out but the weekend.
you have really been thru the mill. i am so sorry all that has happened to you.

Default Lost I am here to help if I can.

Lost Hi, I am here to help if I can let me know what is going on and maybe I can help or at least listen. I have chiari, EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome), CCI (Cranio-cervical instability), POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Sydrome) because of the first 2, Scoliosis, possible TC (tethered Cord) and herniated discs in my back and every weird neurological symptom known to man pretty much.

Default Thanks you guys and gals!

Well today I get to go get a new MRI of the head and cervical spine. I wish the doctor would have ordered a Thoracic area as well. My husband is weary of the money we are putting out for the doctors and for years now not really getting anywhere. I hope they get some good pictures of me that can help shed some light on it all. I appreciate the replies and look forward to getting to know my new online buddies

Default Hi empath

Don't feel bad about being confused on the site. Welcome, and there will be people to help you along the way. I still get lost once in a while, and can't copy and paste an address to where a person needs to get to, so I am learning along the way too.
One thing that helps is the navagation bar where is says "search" tap into the name of the illness or disorder. It will take you to that "thread" where people have the same issues you do. Please feel free to go to any room you want to talk. Live chat is kind of slow, but if you ask for directer conversation, somebody will tap in. There are a great bunch of souls here, that have lots of compassion. let me know how I can help you. ginnie

Default continuing to be lost

WOW, talk about lost. I went this morning for an MRI of the Brain and Cervical area. I have been to the place twice and still managed to get lost. I had to call the place twice and ended up being 20 minutes late. I am just so thankful they still do the test.

Once I got there I was okay but I totally blank out on how to get where I was going and had to call the place twice to get back to where I was suppose to be. I did not like that feeling at all!
