Default chiari zero? something else? any ideas

Apologies in advance if I confuse you with my writing! it's a very rambling post, but I'm trying to get all the information in.
I've posted on here or on the occip neuralgia forum before, but am posting it again as I'm having the base of skull/pressure/deep pinched nerve/mini blackout issues for about two weeks after a tetanus shot and a visit to my dad's house, who has no comfortable chairs or pillows

I seem to be going around in circles with my issues..
-Last feb, got vertigo twice in a five day period, that sustained as dizziness until June or early July. Had another vertigo spell for one day at the end of July.. otherwise i've had unsteadiness at times, but nothing compared to before.
-Neck has weird funnybone feeling that shows up randomly at the base of skull, that makes me feel like a mini fainting episode.. seems to be directly posture-related
-I have a neck pressure sensation at base of skull at times also
-gritty achy pain at base of skull at times also
-occipital headache's occur about once every two weeks, and are easily knocked out by advil, or dissipate after a couple hours
-have had a weird pressure sensation in my right eye that comes and goes - it's like I can feel my cornea spasming or something, but it doesn't manifest as horners syndrome. I also get eyelid spasms
-left arm feels weak sometimes, but there's always power on command, and no aparent weakness. I have ulnar nerve issues with waking up with hand falling asleep, thoracic outlet type feelings
-I dont get a Headache from coughing or sneezing or holding my breath.. does not seem to cause any intensifying of symptoms
-I can sometimes feel and hear shoots of liquid coming from my neck.. is kind of like a brief air hiss.. I'm sure everybody senses that however
-sitting makes things worse, doing physical things alleviates symptoms to the point of that I don't notice anything. Looking down really bothers my neck however.

These symptoms come and go throughout the day, and I've even gone weeks without any symptoms.. but they will come back with a vengeance.. After all that went on in May, it seems like the symptoms never occur together.. only in tandems or as singular symptoms with hints of the others at times. Also they tend to be relatively faint.. probably around a 2/10 up to 4/10 on intensity scale.. of course, I'm aware that the symptoms can quickly intensify as the disease progresses.

Already had a brain MRI in May?, but I'm concerned that it wasn't captured in the saggital plane, which would really suck.. in any case I'll have a copy of the film + report next week probably. Can chiari and odontoid issues be recognized on the transverse plane?

I had panic attacks in 2011 and a globus sensation after tonsilitis for a few months in 2010.. I sit and slouch a LOT in a cheap computer chair at home and wnork, spent months in 2011 laying on concrete and puttin gmy neck in awkward positions doing car repair, and do a lot of physical labor doing house repairs, etc.. I also have bad posture, but trying to tuck the chin and be straight seems to make things worse.

I'm 35 male.. can't remember any chiari type symptoms prior to 2010 apart from occip headaches
thanks

Default Chiari Zero and Upright MRI

Hi,
*edit* Conquer Chiari has just opened up a Chiari research center on the campus of Akron University in Akron, OH. *edit*

You may need an upright MRI to properly diagnose the Chiari. When you are lying down in the MRI machine, everything is relaxed and the real herniation length does not show; yet when you are in an upright MRI machine, gravity is involved and a better picture of the true herniation shows!

I hope this is helpful to you.

thanks for the response...
I'm no radiologist but it's rather easy to do measurements with the mri software provided

I checked my mri.. seems to be around a 1.5mm herniation below mcrae's line...

The length of the clivus seems to be another indicator.. depending on where I measure I get different results.. from the highest point on the horizontal plane of the bone formation itself it's around 4.2cm.. from corner to corner it's maybe 4.0xcm.. apparently there's a positive correlation between a short clivus to chiari symptoms...

Anyway I guess it's a wait & see period for me.. I'm wondering if diamox or a similar csf pressure med would help.. not sure if my doc would go for such experimenting however !
