Default This website is truly amazing

Hello all,

In a nutshell. Fell at work, concussion to the back of my head 13 months ago, migraines, dizziness, memory issues. Dec. 3rd I fell and couple of weeks later my right foot and lower leg swelled up like a balloon,no pain,no discoloration.
Then the swelling went down then my right hand and half my left hand started to tingle then burning pain, bad at times but NOTHING like the RSD sufferers hear go through. I went to a hand specialist,he diagnosed me with rsd but the neurologist I had been seeing had me go for an MRI with contrast of my c-spine. He told me to go see a neuro seurgeon, said I had a pocket of spinal fluid in my spine,I looked at the cd on my computer, the pocket was in my spinal chord, kinda shocking, definately didn't say chord, just spine so I look it up and find syringomyelia. Now he tells me there is no cyst or tumor it's just a cavity but once again another week to wait and wonder.

I've seen pictures of syringomyyelia online and even if that is what I have it is tiny. Right now my right hand is always stiff and at night it burns pretty good. Bottom of right foot now beginning to act up and left pinkie and ring finger. I'm lucky that due to my monster headaches and previous hand tremors I've been taking 2400 mg of gabapentin for awhile now which from what I've read helps with rsd burning if that is what I have.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
