Default Symptoms...can they suddenly stop?

Hi my son has type one diagnosed midway thru uni course. He chose to leave surgery until after his degree and marrying his gorgeous fiancée.

Finally he has a date in July for operation.

Thing is we are Christians and a few weeks ago as someone was praying for his brother, the chap said "this may sound a bit strange but as I started praying I felt there was something wrong with someone's brain or mind, I saw a picture of birds flying round and round a head.

We said it must be Tom ( this chap was a visitor to church and did not know anything about my son)

He then prayed for healing after we explained.

At first there was no difference but in last two weeks for the first time in years he has no pain when sneezing...none at all.

Can this happen naturally, or should we pay for a scan - we believe he could have been healed, but think the surgeon will think we are mad or cancel op if he thinks no symptoms at the moment...really not sure what to do but def don't want them to open the brain if not necessary anymore...can anyone shed some light on symptoms coming and going please...many thanks
