Default Diagnosed and need advise

Hi I was just diagnosed with Chiari 1 Malformation. I was having problems with y neck and back ad was seeing a orthopedic spinal cord specialist. After 3 sets of MRI's and a myelogram he discovered this. He told e I needed to see a neurosurgeon and that my GP could refer me. Went to my regular doctor and said he said the orthopedic needed to refer me. So I a stuck in the middle. Is it something that I need to be concerned about, or do you take one of those wait and see approaches. I will try to attach a picture of the MRI that the orthopedic doctor wanted me to see. Thanks for all your imput. I was quite disturbed when I discovered neither doctor is doing anything.. ~~Anita
