Default Idiopathic syringomyelia

I’m posting this thread because I want to help some person who maybe doesn’t know about a treatment for syringomyelia that exists in Spain that has reversed my disease.

I wanted to do this because I remember spending countless hours on forums like this trying to find clues why I had syringomyelia and how to stop it from growing and destroying my spinal cord. It stared when I was 26 with slight back back and the pain spread slowly over the next few years to my neck and legs and I was overcome with pain as the syrinx grew and grew I was suicideal from the depression. All the doctors I visited had no idea why I had the syrinx and how it was growing I went to over 40 neurologists in the nyc Philadelphia area fro 2010 to 2013
Finally in 2013 ** found a clinic on Spain that found a simple operation to stop the syrinx And has reversed my symptoms. I even play basketball now. Please contact me if you have a syrinx that is growing and nobody knows why

Hi Mary

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

If you have a look at the "Sticky" thread at the top of this forum you will find links to a lot of sites where syringomyelia is discussed.

You can also use the Search option (https://www.neurotalk.org/search.php) to find threads here where it has been mentioned.

Best wishes.
