Helpless
Hello its been a while since I have posted but my journey has been quite complex. I've had migraines since 8 yrs old and my Chairi was disconnected in 2011 at 8mm. Since that time it has been managed with medications. I had 2 epidural blocks because the defect cause 2 cervical disc to become herniated and I began having numbness and tingling in my right arm. For 2 yrs no symptoms. I was in a car accident 02/2020 which caused 2 more disc to become herniated and since that time I have had relentless migraines both upper extremities numbness and tingling. The back of my head is like its in a vice grip, vision is poor, constant vertigo, bladder incontinence, weakness and fatigue and may neck and the back of my head is in constant pain. I saw a brain and spine specialist on yesterday and he convinced himself that nothing I'm experiencing is from the chairi and that surgery is reserve from late stage symptoms such as difficulty swallowing and slurred speech. I am at my wots end because since the accident my quality of life has diminished I am barely functional I have missed so much work in pain all the time and I am now on 4 preventative plus 2 PRN medications and nothing works. I feel so helpless and do not know what to do. I feel I am going to lose everything.
