Default newly diagnosed with LOW LYING CEREBELLUM

Hello everyone.

I am a newly diagnosed Chiarian? Is that what it means when they say you have a LOW LYING CEREBELLUM?

I have an appointment to meet a neurosurgeon on the 29th. So I have picked up the Xray's of my MRI.

Well you KNOW I had to look at them
I also asked and received a cd with the xray's on it.

Off the top of you head, can you tell me how they read the amount of herniation?
here is a list of my symptoms.

1. HEADACHES
I have always had them. I get different kinds.
A. pain in lower back of my head. Like a donkey kicked me there. often, scale of 8

B. EXTREME. Back of the head, With a neck problem included. It locks and I can hardly turn my head. scale of 8

C. Right side of head and ear. for the last 2 yrs. sharp, knife like pains.
Ear canal feels like it is dilating with temp changes.
scale ranges 3-8

E. I call this the pressure cap. It covers the area a cap would. scale of 6

2. Apnea.
Both obstructive and Centrals. started using bi-pap Nov. 09

3. Vertigo.
Occasionally. Have had very bad episodes a few times. Mostly when getting out of bed.

4. I have Explosive force when throwing up. To the point of seeing stars, and popping veins in my face. Nearly passing out at times. First memory of it 1985, with pregnancy.

5. Memory loss. Hard to pick out words I need. Don’t remember things from past till reminded of them.

6. Extreme fatigue since the beginning of 2010.
Dr. discovered I have low iron blood, low in the bone marrow. Now taking iron most days.

7. IBS. Was diagnosed with IBS in 2005

8. Depression. Taking Cymbalta since 2008

9. Arthritis. Have had many problems with it since my late 30‘s.

It is in my neck, cerebellum area, and all of my back. The right hip. Both feet and hands. And my right shoulder.
I have pain in both calves. Frequently. mostly at night.
Xray’s show little reason for the amount of pain I get.

My celebrex was started about 2004. This yr. it was doubled too 200mg.

10. Hiatal hernia. Diagnosed in 2004.

11. Un-diagnosed chest pains. Stress test showed every thing was ok.
Behind right breast.

12. Floaters in eyes. Cateracs in back of eyes. Bright lights bother me too.

13. Have been having lots of warm spells??

here is one of my pics.

thanks
theresa

6,7,8,9....and the vertigo....are suggesting celiac/gluten issues....and i would think maybe vitamin B12 and Vitamin D def may be in play as well....they will need to do the testing to see how your cerebrospinal fluid is flowing.... good luck
