Hi, My name is Lori. I have I had Decompression Surgery in July of 2000, with some complication. No big there. However some Symptoms went away, and new ones popped up. They inserted a shunt in 2003 for intercranial pressure. after 3 revisions it stuck and my headaches are better! The one thing that never went away is the pain in my back of head, neck and mid way down the spine. I have been on to many different medications iincluding pain meds. (I am allergic to anit-inflamitories)
Recently I bit the bullet and took my self off of all narcotic pain meds. No it didn't help. I just know that somewhere out there there must be a happy medium. I have 3 teen age girls that need me and I not there for them. Does any one out there have an idea of where I can go for help. I've run out of ideas and my husband is out of patience. Thank Lori |

NO 1 you should have never taken your self off Narcotics. Glad you are ok. Go back to the NS that did your surgery . If you havent since your surgery you really need to get back to him to take more films to see whats going on. People answered you on other board too.
