Default backache

could backache be a sign of syrinx formation ?
DD age 13 has acm1 8mm and is now suffering backache with no apparent injury or cause
do I need to worry and go back to doc ?
her ns says her doesnt need to see again but we just have to ring him to arrange the decompression surgery when we are ready as she has headaches and pap but is ok at the moment with that its just the backache
