Were none of the articles any help?
Maybe this one—Rheumatoid Arthritis and Exercise. When my OA gets so bad it creeps up & down my spine causing headaches & worse, my DW can help by massaging where it's worst—gently at first, working up to deeper and moderately vigorous. It helps calm everything down. Don't know if that'll work for RA. Doc
