Default Back to working with a Chiro

Hello everyone who drops in here.

I've been dragging myself on what to do next. The chiro I had been seeing for a while over a year ago had a heart issue and he closed his practice. He was doing cold laser therapy and ultrasound on my knee(s) and activator work on most of my body. I have missed his work for a year now.

So I started with a new woman chiro who does all this work too. I've known of her for a lot of years and finally decided to go back to this work and she's stuck with me for a while....Hope these help with knees OA. Reading about cold laser therapy, it's reported to do this 2 times a week, but once a week is all I can go for HOPE I get some inflammation reduction.

Chiros are paid so little by Medicare so this person charges an initial fee for medicare patients and this fee is $90, but then subsequent visits are $9. So I can do that for at least the rest of the year.

I seem to be the most active here...ummmm What's everyone else doing or am I the only one dealing with OA?

I just went thru 7 weeks (7 visits) to chiro for laser therapy, ultrasound, stim work and activator and as much as I like the chiro and her staff, all this work just isn't doing enough to continue. I just cancelled the next 2 visits and will see how I'm feeling next year. I bought a Tens unit and use it some and will continue. My body is just so chronic and complex now that I don't know what can make a big difference. I'll continue with my topicals, supports and all I'm doing and look at next year.

I had so many years of good results from chiro work over my life...but my body has just changed so much and I know all since hip replacement mess/sloppy job or maybe surgeon did all he could do. I'll never know...We are all so complex and unique.

I still do not rule out Prolozone injections but for now I'm doing nothing more but what I do at home. C
