Default Going to pain doctor today

Dreading the long trip there and back!

I have been in constant pain, and my knees not only crack loudly but become swollen. That injection in my backkk gave me temporary relief of maybe 2 weeks at most!

If it weren't for my aide coming early yesterday I may of been stuck in bed and the kids might of been late for school.

The pains doesn't get better it seems to get worse and even though I really don't have anything to stress me out this pain does!!!! I don't need crap from this pain doctor! I don't want to end up in the ER again because I am not able to move!

I have my little journal of pain sx, and other suggestions I wrote down. I just hope I don't lock up and can't get out of the car!!!!!

This cold weather of course is making things worse!

I guess I am asking mainly for a big wish of luck! I really need to feel some good vibes, because if this doctor gives me any huff I might flip out!

Thanks everyone in advance and I hope you all have a great day!

THanks ALan,

Went to the appt at Duke pain clinic sorry to say it was a mess! Didn't even get a chance to mention something to help with my pains, she all of sudden looks up from my chart crosses her legs and tells me "We don't prescribe opoids unless it's for longterm use." my jaw dropped to the floor adn talk about being taken off guard!

I was supposed to take my 8 yr old daughter to a Birthday party today but hurt so bad I couldn't get out of bed...my joints locked up and my skin even hurt, so I had to get my neighbor to take her

I am able to walkkkkk now with the exception of my knees are still locked so I walk straight legged.

This is my life but worse it's effecting my kids life to!
I point these things out to my doctors (who have all the information and don't seem to have a problem letting me know why i am in so much pain, but don't want to help).

I have a new Neuro so I plan to bring this up with him and see what is up.

Thanks so much for the luck. Still need it!

Hope things are going well for you!
