I recently came across a blog written by a self-described multipotentialite. Wikipedia describes it as

“An educational and psychological term referring to a pattern found among intellectually gifted individuals. [Multipotentialites] generally have diverse interests across numerous domains and may be capable of success in many endeavors or professions, they are confronted with unique decisions as a result of these choices.”

The blog writer describes it as a gift, the "ability" to explore many ideas or interests, often leaving one when a new one comes along. However, it seems to me that it is a new term for inability to stay on task. However, I am here to see if anyone has ever heard of or been described by this term.
