Default Depression And Vyvanse

I was taking 70mg of Vyvanse once a day and it seemed to wear off quickly and I would get depressed. Has this ever happened to anyone here?

Yes, yes, yes, and me too! I'm at 60mg and 10mg of Adderall when the Vyvanse wears off. I can feel the wear off too. I turn into a hungry, irritable, miserable beast! It got so bad that I started to take Adderall too soon to ward off the "beast." I even began to take an additional dose of the Adderall when I felt it wearing off. That was a mistake- DO NOT DO THAT! I ended up getting crazy muscle weakness and cramps. I was sooo scared! I believe that depression is a side effect of the drug. That drop you get when it wears off can shock your system. Your doc may prescribe you a short dose of something else to extend the Vyvanse. Definitely talk to your doc.
