I am a mother of two very percious boy's whom I love very much. I am 41 years old and I have been married for 22 years it will be 23 this April. I am so glad that there is a group for this. Let me tell you alittle about myself. As you all know that I am a mother and a wife and I have struggled for many years, in dealing with Thomas and James and their disabilites more thomas than James.
Here is alittle something about Thomas. Thomas is 15 years old and is doing good in school. He got two years until he graduates from High school. Thomas is a special boy whom has come along way in life. He is junior firefighter for the town firehouse. He has a girlfriend that he has been going out with for 4 years and they are both happy. She also has disabilities as well. Thomas had these problems since birth.I am not blaming anyone but I still say that all the problems that he has and that happened to him is due to the fact or the cord, being wrapped around his neck. I was 24 hours dry birth with him and he was blue when he came out. He didn't have no oxygen going to the brain for 24 hours....I had to have a emergency C- with him due to him distressed. He was 6lbs witch wasn't a bad weight.

And as for James witch is my youngest whom is 11 years old who will be 12 this month, is struggling at Math and reading. Besides all of this he is getting the help that he needs and is doing very well. James is also a very special boy too me. I love them both not just because they are my boy's but because that give me hope too get through this. James not only has ADHD/ he also as a learning disability..

So see I have been going through this for many years, and I wouldn't change it for the world. I love to help people with these problems or any other disabilities that come upon me... I am a parent advocate for Up state Ny I have been doing this for over 15 years.......And I myself as a Learning disability, and I am doing good. I joined the Rescue Sqaud for my town, and I am going for my EMT soon. So see I love to help people....
