St. John's wort interferes with the liver enzymes that metabolize
drugs. Some sites state that use with methylphenidate may result with lower blood levels for the methylphenidate (Focalin).

Patients should not take St. John's Wort with other prescription drugs without medical advice.

mrsD, what is your opinion about St. Johns wort ??? I mean, does it work ???

I was going to buy it the other day to treat my depression... I was on fluoxetine but needed to stop it as it was making my eyes and skin extremely dry... I just take it when I feel extremely sad....

Could I take st johns daily ??? or...

Opinions anyone ?

Thanks !
