Default Church gets a restraining order against autistic boy!!!

I am posting this on this forum, and also on Social Chat in Neurotalks, because there was a previous discussion about a teacher who really did a number on a 5 year old with Aspergers.

Well, if you guys got mad at the teacher who did what SHE did, wait until you get a load of this story. It was in my local paper.

I googled it on the net, and they have a video. I bet we get lots of comments over this one. It's a bit different. This kid is 13, 6 feet tall and weighs 225 lbs. That's the description in my local paper. But you can see for yourselves in this video clip. It presents both sides.

I have been mistreated as a kid because I have aspergers. I thought churches were supposed to be accepting.

Two sides to every story and you really need to read the other thread before you get mad at the church.

I am only mentioning this so people who read this thread will hopefully look in the other place to get the whole story.

I agree. There isn't a person on this earth who wants to go into a church, sit down and pray and have their quiet time constantly disrupted.

Imagine going to a library and have this happen? It would never be tolerated.

Same thing going on here.

There should be arrangements made in a room outside of the church where the kid can go, under supervision.

Sounds cruel I know, but give me a break.

People work all week, and want to worship on Sunday. They should absolutely have that right.

Just my opinion.
