Default OK... (again!!) you won't believe what happened to me.

This story has two levels too it, and it has nothing to do with a painting like my last one did.
Some of you may recall back when I was in grad school that I had a "problem" with a certain student. He harrassed me, then tried to attack me. Long story short, 10 police cars plus security, promises that he would be thrown out of school (since this was not his first offense). I had to travel to and from class with a guard, carry a personal alarm, use security parking, went to court... could't get a order of protection... they didn't throw him out of school... I graduated... case closed.

until today.

I was trying to spend a little time away from my interns this afternoon and went to speak to my friend at reception. He asked me if the intern that came in today was for me (since I seem to have them all) and I said no, the intern I was expecting hadn't shown. That led him to saying a common first name similar to this guy I had been harrassed by. I asked.. just off the top of my head could his last name be *** and he said I think so. I then described him and my friend was acting really weird (freaking him and me out)
well it was the guy!

I was so messed up I couldn't even think. He went and told the boss, I went and explained... and they are trying to figure out how to handle it.

Unbelievable right? So I go out of the building with my interns just to escape all the talking about my situation and trying to digest it... cause its weird. What are the odds that I just happen to be friends with a guy who would mention that a guy came in for an internship ... and that we figured out it was him given he only told me a first name and it was just close to it. And I am sitting there with my interns and saying I feel like someone was protecting me by having that happen.

So as I am saying this I hear a really odd noise, like click click bang. I am already in a highly jumpy state so... I am saying what was that what was that. My interns said a picture fell off the wall by my desk. She goes over and picks it up and shows it too me.

The picture was a drawing I did a few weeks back in august. I was doing a group and had been reflecting on a picture I did a few years ago, about a movie I had seen (Poncetta or something) and had drawn a cemetary type thing with stars and such. After I had drawn it my patients were asking why was I drawing it and I told them why... and then I remembered it was the one year anniversary of my fathers death.

Well thats the picture that fell to the floor when I said I felt like I was being protected. Is that cool or what? When my father died I was with him during the long process, it took several hours. Right before he passed I told him to come by and visit, any way he could... just don't scare the crap out of me.
I guess he came to see me today.

Whoa! What a cool story...Did you feel him close by when you realized what happened? We (my Grandmother and I) were in an old homestead researching genealogy. We found all these books owned by my 4th Great Grandfather who lived around the time of Lincoln. I ended up taking them home with me. When we left the house my Grandmother commented that she felt my ancestor was in the house and wanted me to have those books. What was funny was I felt the same thing.
