Default Hi everyone

Hi -
I'm glad I found this board again, I have used this a lot on and off over the last seven years and it has been a wonderful source of information, help (and of course the occasional pity party!)
I am so happy to see all the familiar names, you can't believe it.
After a long period of homeschool, we are trying this year to slowly introduce Theo back into school, but as school has always been the most difficult problem for us, I'm sure I'll be needing lots of help in the very near future.
But for right now, just hi,
so glad to see you all again.

HI, welcome back! Glad to hear that Theo is doing great. Did you change by any chance your name?

Good to see you! I hope it goes relatively well with the school. I get a stomach cramp whenever I think of easing my son back into school...homeschooling has been so satisfying and school is such a constant stressful and discouraging drama. at least for us. I look forward to seeing how you conquer it.

welcome!
cj

Isabelle - no name change, it might be confusing because my name is Thea and my son's is Theo. I started using this board when my older son was diagnosed - his name is Gatlin and he is 14 now - doing good now and in high school, and really into band.

cj - glad to hear you are homeschooling - well, we started him off going just an hour a day but even that did not work out, he was refusing about 3-4 times just during that hour, he went right back to low confidence and being harder to manage at home. So we are back to homeschool, he is going to just go to art once a week. He does like visiting his little brother for lunch!

ah. sorry it was not a breeze....even though I know you knew it would be hard, one can always hope against hope.

At least you are going to try the art class....and lunch too? If that works out for him it certainly is a step down the path, at least.

Hang in there,
cj
