Unhappy Took Rita Ann to the Dentist

She has 8 cavities. She has to have a root cannel. It seems we all have the same problem with soft teeth. Kyle had to have one at the age of 3. This will be done on the 9th of October. Wish us luck.

Is she going to have it all taken care of at once?

I just read about the use of fluoride in the water that is supposedly to prevent cavities, so far not evidence of doing that. Perhaps, your town water lacks fluoride?
I think is genetics/or race related I see some people within the same family with the most beautiful teeth and/or the next person living the same amount of generations in the same town with rotten teeth.

Lightbulb

((((((MaryEvelyn)))))),

That stinks. My step-daughter had tons of cavities like that. She brushed religiously.

My son, on the other hand, took abysmal care of his teeth and never had a cavity. The dentist kept telling him to continue doing what he was doing (while I'm screaming in my head "don't tell him that!!").

Have they ever talked with you about coating her teeth?? I think it's some sort of plastic stuff. My son had it done because his dentist was at The Children's Hospital in Boston so you got 'exposed to' new things like that.

I don't know if that's why he never had any problems. But, it sure makes you wonder. The only dental problem he ever had was a broken tooth when he fell on his face while ice-skating.

Talk to Rita Ann's dentist and see if they can do that coating. It might help a lot.

Hugs.

Barbara

That coating is a great idea.

Your poor baby, no fair. That's a lot of dental work.
