Default Poems for Mooseman...

Why should Mooseman have all the fun? I had an poetry worthy experience driving my dog home from the vet today, so here goes:

Coming home from the vet
With my loving pet.
She was stiff and uptight,
Something didn't seem right.

She was on the floor
behind my seat by the door.
She never sits there,
she seemed lost, unaware.

I heard a strange sound
so I glanced around.
She looked calmer, relieved
like there'd been something achieved.

I sniffed in the air.
And said a quick prayer.
This time I looked down,
two piles big and brown.

I begged her to 'stay'
So I could take it away.
before she started to twirl.
She was such a good girl!

Up the driveway I drove
Out the car we both dove.
The stink was horrendous,
the piles quite tremendous.

With the dog far away
I got towels and spray.
The kids school bell will ring
And this mess I can't bring.

Less than 5 minutes more
to remove canine 'decor'.
My car's rubber floor
made easy my chore.

I kept my perspective, I got there on time.
Afterall, the pooch commited no crime.
The cleaning is finished, she isn't to blame,
Just greatful she isn't a big old Great Dane.
